Week 15 - DELTA FORCE 2007 - Bullies run the School! (Vegas vs The Mad Capper)

It's Delta Force time again... where are the biggest differences between my predictions and Vegas' spreads? Here we go...

DEN (+1.5) at HOU.....DEN (-1) .................... 2.5
CIN (-8.5)at SF...... CIN (-6) .................... 2.5*

ATL (+11.5) at TB.... TB (-12) .................... 0.5
BAL (-4) at MIA...... BAL (-7)..................... 3.0*
BUF (+5.5) at CLE.... CLE (-2.5)................... 3.0
GB (-9) at STL....... GB (-11)..................... 2.0*
JAX (+4) at PIT...... JAX (-3)..................... 7.0
NYJ (+24) at NE...... NE (-30)..................... 6.0

WAS (+4.5) at NYG.... NYG (-1)..................... 3.5
CHI (+10.5) at MIN... MIN (-4)..................... 6.5

Wow that's a lot of red.

Ten games have a delta of more than a field goal, and at first glance I'm not that excited about them. I do have 2 flip games - DEN v HOU and JAX v PIT, but both of these games could go either way. I've astericked the games I like the best, and only half of them have deltas of atleast 3 points.

1. SEA -7 at CAR: I would have given 12 points on this game. SEA and MIN seem to be the two hottest teams right now, and lucky for SEA they get a CAR team that is one of the leagues coldest. This game also works as a teaser, essentially making the game a pick-em. Love this pick, I just hope the spread doesn't move off the touchdown mark.

2. IND -10.5 at OAK: Very similar to game #1. OAK is completely overmatched here, and I trust Indy to take care of business. This game could be solid as a teaser bet also.

3. BAL -4 at MIA: Baltimore is the bully who just got beat up by his older brothers (Indy & NE). They are gonna take it out on someone, and just their luck, the 2nd grader of their dreams is their opponent this week. John Beck got pulled after 8 plays last week, what do you think BAL's pass rush is going to do to him?

4. CIN -8.5 at SF: This is purely based on CIN's offensive potential and SFs ineptitude. Alex Smith, who is not good, was injured forcing Trent Dilfer in, who is not good. The Dilfster got injured, so they now are starting someone worse than him. This is an under-the-radar game that should be a monster victory for Cincy.

5. GB -9 at STL: Bully week continues with powerhouse GB vs STL. 9 points shouldn't be too much of a problem for quick-strike GB, who stumbled into a running game with backup Ron Grant. STL isn't doing much of anything right, and are yet another team with no QB options.

6. NO -3.5 vs ARI: My only home team. I would be slightly more excited about this game if ARI wasn't so schizo. They could show up and upset, but NO seems to have found itself, and still thinks they are in the playoff hunt. Silly Saints.
